I used to blog in college. I'm pretty certain that I didn't really miss a day in about 2 years. So may have called it an addiction; I called it "keeping my family up to date while I was away to college". I don't really know, but I do know that I don't do it anymore. My last post was in January on this thing...it's quite sad.
So, here it is almost the end of June. So far this summer has gone by excessively quickly. Doug got home from his latest and greatest deployment a week after school let out and has been studying for that master's degree ever since! I'm very proud of him for his crazy amount of discipline. He's leaving for about 4 days next week for work and then we're headed off to Dallas to visit his family the following week! I'm so excited and I know he is definitely ready for a break!
School let out and I am so thankful for a break from the kiddos. I love them dearly, but there's only so much a person can take with a room full of 5 year olds! I get a whole new batch soon and I'm excited and petrified at the thought. There is so much to do to get ready for them and who knows what they will be like. Last year was a decent year so I'm nervous about next considering it seems to be a cyclic thing...good year, bad year, angelic children, psycho children...
